Prof. Robert Altemeyer of Manitoba University was hauled into the limelight in 2006, when the Watergate Whistle-blower, John Dean, based much of his best-seller CONSERVATIVES WITHOUT A CONSCIENCE on the forty years of virtually unreported research he had done on the origins of this politically-disastrous phenomenon.

Over the years, Altemeyer has perfected questionnaires that identify what he calls "RICHT WING AUTHORITARIANS" and predict their behaviours in experimental simulations.
